J.N. Chaney's, The Amber Project, is a smooth flowing, unique and adventurous read. The story is one of hope and bravery. It is a look at a dystopian world that does not involve zombies or other paranormal stereotypes. The unique plot is obvious from the very first page and the reader is thrust into a very different world with some amazing characters.
The author introduces us to our protagonists from an early age. The reader is therefore given the opportunity to grow with the characters and know them in a personal manner. The Amber Project, is an amazing and thrilling adventure story of hope and bravery showcased by our young protagonists. You will find yourself holding your breath and cheering for these young characters as they embark on a truly terrifying mission.
This novel is perfect for fans of the dystopian genre and is perfect for readers ranging from young adults to anyone looking for an escape from the real world. The Variant Saga is a promising series from J.N. Chaney. I can not wait to see what follows and what is to come for our young characters and their slowly decaying world.
